Judy Endow, author of “Learning the Hidden Curriculum” to give keynote at Happiness House/Finger Lak

On Friday, April 12 2013, Happiness House will celebrate Autism Awareness at our “Behind the Scenes” Conference on Autism with keynote speaker, Judy Endow from 8 am – 3:00 pm at Crosswinds Wesleyan Church, 3360 Middle Cheshire Road in Canandaigua. Judy Endow is a Harvard University graduate with a degree in English literature. Besides having autism herself, she is a parent of three now grown sons, one of whom is on the autism spectrum. Ms. Endow is a talented playwright, author, actress, and has a private practice in Madison, Wisconsin, providing consultation for families, school districts and other agencies.

The cost of this all day conference is $100 for professionals and $75 for parents. Included in the registration fee is a continental breakfast, breakout sessions in the morning and afternoon, lunch, networking, book signing and dessert. Happiness House- Finger Lakes Cerebral Palsy Association is a private nonprofit health and human service agency that has been serving communities in the Finger Lakes region in Upstate New York since 1969. Today with sites in Geneva, Canandaigua, Gorham, and Waterloo, Happiness House offers an array of educational program, recreational and family support services for children and adults with and without disabilities who reside in Ontario, Seneca, Wayne, and Yates counties. On average Happiness House serves 1,000 individuals and their families each year.
