Therapeutic Services

Happiness House offers an array of therapeutic services delivered within the home and community, as well as center-based settings. Occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech and language therapy and special education services are available to eligible children from birth to five years of age.

Early Intervention Program

 

For children from birth to three years of age, therapy services are offered within the Happiness House Early Intervention Program. This program provides eligible infants and toddlers showing signs of developmental disabilities the opportunity to receive home and community, and/or center-based services tailored specifically to their individual strengths and needs. A wide range of educational and therapeutic services are available including special education services, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, and music therapy.

Center-Based Preschool Programs

 

Therapeutic services for children attending one of The Happiness House Early Childhood Educational Services Programs are provided in the areas of occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, and music therapy. These services are provided as part of each child's Individualized Education Plan.

Related Services Program

For children three to five years of age, therapy services are offered within the Related Services model. The Related Service Program provides children of preschool age an opportunity to receive therapeutic services within community-based settings. Special education, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy services can be provided within a variety of locations including the child's home, child care, and/or preschool setting.
