Summer Recreation Program

The Happiness House Summer Recreation Program is a four-week day camp for children and youth with disabilities ages five to twenty years old who reside within Ontario, Seneca, Wayne and Yates counties. The Summer Recreation Program is a unique and effective model designed to provide children and youth with disabilities a typical recreational camp experience within their community.

The children participate in recreational and camp based activities from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. four days a week (Monday through Thursday.) Transportation is provided at no cost to the participants. The Summer Recreation Program offers its participants an opportunity to participate in a fun, safe and meaningful recreation program while affording parents and caregivers increased respite/leisure time from the daily demands of caring for a child with a disability.
