Happiness House in collaboration with United Way of Ontario County, Inc. is proud to announce a new program to serve children in the Ontario County area. Located at the Canandaigua site, our after school certified child care program offers specially designed programs geared toward children aged 5-12 with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Down Syndrome, or Traumatic Brain Injury. Our staff has the specific skills and experience necessary to meet the unique needs of youth with disabilities from both a social, behavioural and educational standpoint in a structured environment. Children will enjoy socialization and recreation with their peers through 4-H, arts & crafts, and health & wellness - all geared toward their interests and skill levels. Students will receive engaging instruction which improves their social/emotional competencies, and will have access to state of the art technology, facilitated by trained staff. The after school program follows the school calendar and will operate Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm! Our new program is located at 5415 County Road 30 in Canandaigua. Space is limited, so register your child today! Contact Lynn D’Amico at (315)789-6828 for more information.
