Residential Services
The importance of family is an essential part of Happiness House residential programs. We value those who live at our homes and their families. As a team we believe that we provide a safe, clean and respectful home environment. We work with the individuals to help them reach their goals. The home setting allows for group and individual goal-oriented activities, recreational activities, social interaction, nutritious meals, as well as rest and relaxation. The residential staff provides transportation and support with medical appointments and community outings. Residential Habilitation
Happiness House offers a community and home-based residential habilitation service to individuals with developmental disabilities who would like to improve or maintain their ability to live independently. The service can be provided on a one-to-one basis or in a group setting. Individuals may choose to work on a wide range of goals including: educational, daily living, socialization, community integration, or health/wellness. Goals are based on the individual's personal interests. The focus of our residential habilitation service is to find meaningful activities which assist the individual with achieving their goals.

Respite Services
Happiness House offers respite services to individuals with developmental disabilities who are at least three years old and live in a home with at least one family member or caregiver. A skilled respite provider can come to the home and provide one-to-one care for the individual while their family/caregiver takes a break. This service can be provided in the home or out in the community.

Recreation Program
Happiness House offers a recreation activity one Saturday each month in a small group setting. The participants work together to create the calendar of activities. Individuals over the age of 18 who live with at least one family member or caregiver may be eligible for this service.

Day Habilitation
Happiness House offers group day habilitation services for people who are interested in a non-traditional day service setting. The program is integrated with adults who have sustained a traumatic brain injury and is focused on cognitive habilitation and independent living skills. Medicaid Service Coordination
Happiness House's Service Coordinators work with individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities to educate them on the types of services and supports to which they are entitled. Service Coordinators also assist with locating service providers and enrollment. The Service Coordinator ultimately acts as an advocate for the individual — ensuring that the quality and quantity of services meets their needs.
