Happiness House Announces Recipients of the Elizabeth J. Amidon Memorial Awards – July 9, 2003

Each year Happiness House accepts nominations for the Elizabeth J. Amidon Memorial Award. Nominees must be graduating high school seniors.

Thirteen students were recipients of the Amidon Award for the 2002-2003 school year, as follows: Thomas P. Achilles, Geneva High School; Daniel Congdon, Phelps-Clifton Springs; Andy Covert, Romulus Central School; Jeffrey Davids, Mynderse Academy; Elizabeth Fagner, Newark High School; Daniel Hamburg, Phelps-Clifton Springs; Sarah Hamling, Manchester-Shortsville; Terry McMichael, Penn Yan Academy; Emily Papperman, South Seneca Central School; Chad Stewart, Phelps-Clifton Springs; Briana VanParys, Palmyra-Macedon Central School; Samantha Webb, Marion Jr.-Sr. High School; and Tracy Williams, Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES.

Each student received a cash award and a certificate for his or her accomplishments.
