New Board Members Welcomed and Officers Elected - March 8, 2003

     
  Mary Herlihy Gearan has been appointed to the Board of Directors for a three-year term. Gearan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and economics from Emmanuel College in Boston and a Juris Doctorate degree from the Evening Law School Program at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She resides in Geneva with her husband, Mark, president of Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and their two daughters.
     
  Keith B. Malchoff, Jr. has been appointed to the Board of Directors for a three-year term. He is a past member of the Happiness House Board of Directors serving in various capacities from 1979-1992. Malchoff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy from Syracuse University Utica College and a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics from Cornell University. He is a lead occupational therapist in the acute rehab program at Geneva General Hospital. Malchoff resides in Canandaigua with his wife, Lynn. They have three grown children, Saralynn, Carl and Drew.
     
  Paul F. D’Amico has been elected for a two-year term as the chairman of the Board of Directors. D’Amico has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1998, serving as vice chairman the past two years. D’Amico is also currently president of Finger Lakes Little League and Finger Lakes Youth Sports, Inc. He holds an Associate in Science degree from Monroe Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from SUNY Brockport. He has been employed with Met Life Financial Services for the past six years. D’Amico resides in Geneva and he has two children, Jeff and Sarah.
     
  Bernard G. Lynch, Jr. has been elected for a two-year term as the vice chairman of the Board of Directors. Lynch has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2000. Lynch is also currently treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. Lynch resides in Geneva with his wife, Mylene, and their two sons, Bernie and Jack. Lynch’s family owned and operated business, Lynch Furniture Company, in Geneva, was recognized as the “Business of the Year” at a recent Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce dinner.
     
  William E. Pearce has been re-elected for a two-year term as the treasurer of the Board of Directors. Pearce has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1993. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from Cornell University and a graduate degree from Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University. He is retired with 14 years of service from Canandaigua National Bank and Trust Company. Pearce resides in Phelps with his wife, Sandra. They have four grown children.
