The Board of Directors and staff at Happiness House gathered at the Inn on the Lake in Canandaigua to recognize staff and to celebrate the culmination of another outstanding year. One of the highlights of this event was the introduction of the nominees for the Mary W. Griswold Professional Service Award, which recognizes the exceptional work of Happiness House staff members, who in and through their work exemplify the mission and vision of the agency. The award was established in memory of Mary W. Griswold, a former member of Happiness House’s Board of Directors. (more)

On Sunday, June 13th from 8AM to 12 PM watch as 70 local community members driving classic vehicles and six local companies join together to participate in the “Charity Poker Run to benefit the Happiness House.” This fundraising event features a 75-mile poker run with stops at each of the six local host companies... Mary Walsh Boatfield, Happiness House CEO has been chosen by State Senator Michael F. Nozzolio (R-Fayette) to receive the “Woman of Distinction Award”, which was presented to Ms. Boatfield in Senate Chambers on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 in Albany. (more)

Happiness House/Finger Lakes Cerebral Palsy Association recently held its 7th Annual Gala Dinner & Auction Event. Founding and Major Sponsor Belhurst, in Geneva, hosted the event which was presented by Five Star Bank, the underwriter of this event. (more)

Today, November 12, 2009 at 1:30 pm, Robert J. Quinn Jr. presented his Eagle Scout Service Project at the Happiness House Canandaigua site, located at 5415 County Road 30 in Canandaigua. Quinn, age 23, has been a part of Troop #1 of Geneva, a troop dedicated to scouts with special needs, for the past 16 years. He has received services from Happiness House since he was 18 months old.(more)

Congratulations to Mary Walsh Boatfield, CEO of Happiness House/Finger Lakes Cerebral Palsy Association, chosen as this year's recipient of the Athena Geneva Award hosted by the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce. This award is given annually to women in communities around the world to recognize leaders who demonstrate excellence, creativity, and initiative in their profession. (more)

The festivities will begin with Happiness House’s Annual Poker Run beginning at the Canandaigua American Legion, 454 N Main Street, Canandaigua, New York on Saturday, August 29th, 2009. Registration is from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., and breakfast will be available to purchase at the Canandaigua American Legion. The fee for operators is $20 and $15 for passengers and non-riding participants and includes a free t-shirt. The last bike leaves at 11:00 a.m. and returns by 3:00 p.m. This event is open to ALL makes of motorcycles! (more)

The Francis “Ben” Bonafiglia Happiness House Golf Tournament will be held on Wednesday, August 5th, 2009 at Seneca Falls Country Club in Seneca Falls, NY. The honorary co-chairs for this year’s tournament are Harry and Ann Burt, devoted supporters of the Happiness House family for many years. Ann recently completed her 26th year on the Happiness House Board of Directors. Harry has been an avid tournament golfer and is always willing to help us in any way that he can. (more)

Happiness House/Finger Lakes Cerebral Palsy Association is celebrating the Week of the Young Child at their Geneva site, 731 Pre-Emption Road in Geneva, New York. Various activities and visits from local community helpers have been planned throughout the week! (more)

During the months of March and April, the UPS store located at 789 Pre-Emption Road at Liberty Commons will donate ten cents to Happiness House for every UPS package shipped through their center. Additional donations by customers will also be collected and included in the final total. (more)

Happiness House's TBI program is celebrating all month long! Throughout the month of March an art exhibit will be on display showcasing photographs by the TBI digital photography club at the Ontario County Arts Council Building "All Things Art". (more)

The Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity at Hobart & William Smith Colleges held a 5k Turkey Trot for Happiness House/Finger Lakes Cerebral Palsy Association. Seventy five students from Hobart & William Smith Colleges participated in the 5k run. (more)
