Employment First 2017 Conference

Rochester Rehabilitation will be hosting their second annual Employment First Conference in Western New York, focusing on employment outcomes for special populations. This conference, presented by Wegmans, will offer workshop sessions for both human service providers and other businesses. It will feature evidenced-based, best practice models, and highlight successful partnerships between non-profit vocational employment programs and local businesses.

Our Keynote Speaker is Adrian Hale, native of Rochester, New York, and the Manager of Strategic Initiatives at the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce.

5K Run for Fun

CP Rochester's 12th Annual 5K Run for Fun is being held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at our facility at 3399 Winton Road South. The certified 5K course (#NY06129KL) is flat and runs through a residential neighborhood with only one or two gentle hills. Runners should be able to get excellent times from this course!

We welcome runners, walkers, and rollers! Runners will be positioned first at the starting line. Walkers and people using wheelchairs or pushing strollers will be staged behind them (with a choice to walk the 5K course or the 1 Mile course).

All proceeds from the 5K Run for Fun help benefit Ability Partners Foundation in support of the programs and services offered through CP Rochester, Happiness House, and Rochester Rehabilitation for individuals with disabilities and disadvantages. These programs and services include physical, occupational, and speech therapies; housing; early intervention and preschool programs; mental health services; day habilitation and respite services; employment services; and recreational programs. Your registration makes a direct impact on so many individuals.



The Francis "Ben" Bonafiglia Happiness House Golf Tournament

When: August 2, 2017
Where: Seneca Falls Country Club, 2790 State Route 89, Seneca Falls
Registration: 8:30 am, 10 am shotgun start, Dinner at 4:30 pm.
Format: Six-person scramble.
Includes: Green fees, cart, light breakfast, lunch, and dinner, gift for golfers ($25 value). Raffle drawings, various contests (mulligan, hole-in-one, longest drive, closest to the pin, and more!), prizes for OVERALL top two teams and for top team in each flight.

Evening of Stars Gala

Join Ability Partners Foundation for the 4th Annual Evening of Stars Gala event on Friday, September 29, 2017 at the Memorial Art Gallery. The Gala will feature hors d’oeuvres, dinner, dessert, awards, and auctions. Tickets are $100/person. Dash to Cash

On Sunday, October 15, 2017, Ability Partners Foundation will be hosting our 5th Annual Microbrew and Wine Tasting event at Champion Hills Country Club (675 Championship Drive in Victor) from 3 to 6 p.m. This event is for people age 21 years and older. Tickets are $100 each, which admits two to the event and a chance to win great prizes! Only 250 tickets will be sold, so there are great chances to win! Attire is casual. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served. You do not need to be present to win.

Grand Prize: Up to $5,000
2nd Place: Up to $1,000
3rd Place: Up to $500
4th Place: Up to $100 (win your money back!)

Bowling to Raise Bucks!

Join us on November 3, 2017 at Roseland Bowl in Canandaigua for our 9th Annual Bowling to Raise Bucks fundraiser! There will be plenty of bowling, music, food, candy, and prizes! All proceeds from Bowling to raise Bucks benefit Ability Partners Foundation in support of the programs and services offered through CP Rochester, Happiness House, and Rochester Rehabilitation.

  • 1st Registration at 5:15 p.m. (bowl at 6 p.m.)
  • 2nd Registration at 7:45 p.m. (bowl at 8:30 p.m.)

Collect pledges from your family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors in support of Ability Partners Foundation! Each bowler must raise a minimum of $40 in pledges ($30 for ages 12 and under). All pledges need to be turned in at the event. Your pledges cover the cost of two games of the Roseland Laser Light Bowling Experience (including shoe rental), pizza, beverages, cookies, snacks, candy, prizes, and family fun ($25 value)!
