Poolside Aide
Part time opportunity to work as a member of a progressive organization assisting therapists and consumers during aqua therapy. Assures safety in and around the pool area, pulls client charts, and assists with the client care and equipment. Applicants require a high school diploma, experience working with the public and experience working with individuals with disabilities. Water Safety Certification preferred, but may be obtained once selected for the position. Work location and hours are Mondays from 11:00 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. located at the Eberhardt Center in Canandaigua.
Aide
Positions available providing one to one services for a child with autism in a community setting (Seneca Falls area). Full time evenings with some weekends required. Candidates require a high school diploma and experience working with individuals with disabilities.
Residential Assistant
Positions located in Gorham, NY in a residential setting for teens with disabilities. Successful applicants must have a high school diploma and valid NYS driver's license. Must be able to obtain and maintain Medical Certification. Experience with special needs population preferred. Full time evening positions and substitute positions available.
Residential assistants provide oversight to ensure safety and supervision of residents. Provide assistance, training and supervision with various activities of daily living, helping each individual to improve their ability to live more independently.
Accompanies residents to off-site locations/activities helping them to access and utilize community resources. Assists residents with planning and accessing recreational and social activities.
Home & Community Support Service Aide
PCA certification preferred – full time. Must be available nights and weekends to work with individuals with a TBI in their home and community setting with their daily living skills. Travel a must with mileage reimbursement. Candidates must have HS diploma, valid NYS driver’s license, and knowledge of community resources and means of accessing services. Residential Habilitation Specialist
Substitute position working with individuals with a TBI to assist them with their daily living skills. Hours as needed. Travel a must with mileage reimbursement. Candidates must have HS diploma, valid NYS driver’s license, and knowledge of community resources and means of accessing services.
Teacher’s Aide and 1:1 Aide
Part time positions working with the toddler group at the Canandaigua site. Hours are Mondays – Fridays, 8:45 – 11: 15 a.m. Candidates must have HS diploma and experience working with young children preferred.
